Whats the difference between " squabble" , "bicker" and "quarrel" These words sound a little bit confused to me.

bicker- to argue about petty and trivial matters

quarrel- A heated argument or disagreement, typically about a trivial issue and between people who are usually on great terms

It's certainly sensory. And it's figurative too. I think I'd pick figurative because the central piece of language is a simile. That's pretty good use of language when you compare the bobbing heads of flowers to helmeted soldiers.
