How are the pilgrim and Aeneas alike?
Marat540 [252]
The dominant factor in an epic is the heroic main character. This character often is the son of a god or goddess and is favored by the gods. Heroic characters are also always hounded by constant tragedy which drives them to fulfill their fates. Most heroic characters are high in social status and share close contacts with the gods. All of these qualities of heroic characters show up in the characters of Aeneas from The Aeneid and Gilgamesh from the Epic of Gilgamesh<span>. </span>

adelina 88 [10]

A theme is a universal lesson learned and the central idea is a one-sentence main idea.

  • <em>Central idea</em> conveys that the text is about mainly, whereas, <em>theme </em>refers to the author's message, life lesson or moral learned from the story.
  • A <em>central idea</em> cannot be referred to as the topic of the text, on the other hand, a <em>theme</em> cannot be same as topic.
  • In one sentence, the<em> central idea </em>can be stated, whereas, <em>themes</em> are repeated and can be multiple.

Therefore, a theme is not the central idea, nor it can act as a topic of the text.

Answer:

The Debate Commission declined to reschedule the second debate over President Trump's refusal to agree to a virtual debate session over fears of his co ro navirus diagnosis.

Explanation:

Right after President Donald Trump tested positive for CO VID-19, he was put on self-quarantine. But days later, the President's physician, Navy Cmdr. Dr. Se an Co nley gave him the all-clear to continue with his campaign.

The second Presidential debate that was scheduled to be held in Miami was canceled after Trump refused to do a virtual debate. The issue was because of the fears of his positive diagnosis, the Commission decided to do a virtual debate for the second debate to keep everyone safe. While Joe Biden's camp agreed to do the virtual debate, President Trump's side refused, questioning why there is the need to do it online when the President is cleared as safe.

So, the Commission was left with no option except cancel the debate instead of rescheduling it. As Kate Bedingfield, Biden's campaign spokesperson stated, <em>"Donald Trump doesn't make the debate schedule; the debate commission does." </em>
