The first stage (from birth to 2 years) in Erikson psychological development is called trust. This stage focuses on child’s basic needs, if parents can provide basic needs and meet his needs, this leads to trust. Trust means truthfulness of others i.e. parents, caretakers, and the world. Here, Justin's father has been successful in meeting his needs and feeling of trust has been developed in Justin.
