In the 1930’s, a huge surge of the blues and jazz erupted from the Harlem Renaissance, bringing these feelings of hopelessness to the forefront. Since people were unable to pay for anything, many were caught on the streets and wandering around as hobos looking for their next meal. Many aspects of the daily life reflected the new poor economy, such as a rise in homelessness, job loss, and overall “Depression”
Because industrialization lead to a work force which eventually turned into a militarism because the work force could now make their own amo and guns which they didn't have to rely on other countries <span />
What time period was this? women got the right to vote in 1920, when the 19th amendment was ratified, and they could hold political office in Washington state since the upper 1800's. It's arguable that they still don't have equal rights.. but that's the only answer that makes sense if this is talking about the WW time periods.
The results of the steamboat include:
A) Decreased amount of time to ship goods- The steamboat provided a much quicker way to ship goods for businesses.
B) Decreased the price to ship goods/materials.- Before this time, shipping goods to other cities and states could be price. Thanks to the simultaneous development of steamboats and canals, the price to ship goods was significantly reduced..
