Biotechnology has revolutionized the branch of medicine. The concept that one can utilize the non-human cells to generate human proteins to be utilized as medicine, has paved the path of curing the previously incurable disorders. Biotechnology thus is very essential to better the quality of human life.

The crops developed with the help of biotechnology has assisted in minimizing the environmental influence of productive agriculture in many ways. One of the ways is by using powered agricultural machines, conserving the fossil fuels, and minimizing the emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

The agricultural biotechnology is going beyond its input traits and is aiming at providing consumer health benefits. However, the public seems to lag behind in its comprehension of technology in the field of agriculture, and that concerns those who regard biotechnology to be a tool, which could assist in solving issues varying from environmental adulteration to world hunger.
