After the air has descended on the east (leeward) side of the Coast Range back to sea level, what is the air temperature
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

The air temperature gets warmer.

Explanation:

When the air descends on the east side of the Cosra Strip back to sea level, it ends up releasing a large amount of latent heat, as it needs to go through a condensation process when it reaches the windward mountain. This causes the air to descend at a higher temperature than it did when it was rising from the other side. In other words, the temperature of the air is higher than the temperature it was at sea level.
