Should be 48 blue cards in all
Hatshy [7]4 years ago

Let the ratio of the number of blue to yellow cards be 4:3
since blue has 4 parts and yellow has 3, the total would be 7 equal parts which sum up to 84
--> each part is equal to 12
blue has 4 parts so there are 4*12=48 blue cards in total

In the right triangle shown, DF=EF=3DF=EF=3D, F, equals, E, F, equals, 3.
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

DE = 4.24

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram is not shown; However, the question can still be solved without the diagram.

Having said that,.

Given that

DF = EF = 3

This implies that DE is the hypothenus and will be solved using Pythagoras theorem.

DE² = EF² + DF²

Substitute 3 for EF and DF

DE² = 3² + 3²

DE² = 9 + 9

DE² = 18

Take Square Root of both sides

DE = √18

DE = 4.242640687119285

DE = 4.24 (Approximated)

A triangle has sides lengths of 9 cm, 12 cm, and 15 cm.
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

  • Yes it is a right triangle
  • The side lengths satisfy the Pythagorean theorem equation

Step-by-step explanation:

We can test these numbers to see if they satisfy the Pythagorean theorem equation:

  15² = 9² + 12²

  225 = 81 + 144 . . . . true

Since the numbers satisy the Pythagorean theorem relation, they belong to a right triangle.

____

You can recognize that the ratio of side lengths is ...

  9 : 12 : 15 = 3 : 4 : 5

Further, you can recognize that the side lengths 3, 4, 5 belong to the right triangle with the smallest integer side lengths that satisfy the Pythagorean theorem. Hence the 9 : 12 : 15 triangle is similar (by a scale factor of 3) to a right triangle, thus is a right triangle.

Damm [24]

Answer:

1) 8

2) -2

3) 6

Step-by-step explanation:

1) First, find the pattern in the table, with X the pattern is +1, but with Y the pattern is +2. So to find the Y-intercept in the table you need to subtract 1 from X and subtract 2 from Y. The answer is 8.

2) On a graph it is really easy, it is where the line touches the Y-axis, in this case, it is -2. The answer is -2.

3) With the equation y=mx+b, the M is the rise/run and the B is the Y-intercept,  and the B in the equation is 6. The answer is 6.
