Answer:

Hi, I suggest you compare them by the magic elements in the story and how they impact the protagonist's point of view as well as the truth behind these elements. My suggestion is life of Pi, because it is a very popular and famous movie that has a novel

Explanation:

Magic realism is a very praised genre among literature. The biggest authors I can recall are Haruki Murakami and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, however, I wouldn't recommend their stories in this case because they can include adult-only topics or material. However, I advise you to read Murakami once you turn 18. It is wonderful. In this case, I recommend you life of Pi which is a movie and has also a novel. Magic realism is the genre that narrates a story that takes place in the real world adding fantastic or magic elements. You can use the life of pi characters representation in the form of animals, by their personal characteristics and status. Also, the way the protagonist programs himself to see them as animals to make the story less crude and that he does it like that to survive and not fall in despair.

Please write a short letter to Lee, between 120-180 words.
Ray Of Light [21]
It would be too obvious for me to write the entire letter for you, but I'll include a list of points that you could include in your own writing style:

* Thanking Lee for his letter, and saying that you are happy that he is having a good time.
* Telling him roughly what you're studying at school (without being boring).
* Write about what you would like to do when you leave school.
* Finally, say that you miss him a lot and look forward to hearing from him soon.

Describe four different purposes you could have for reading. write in complete sentences.
Nikolay [14]
There are lots of reasons why people read. You may simply want to relax, after a long day, I find it quite relaxing to just chill and read for a couple of hours. You can do specific reading, in order to bolster your understanding on a specific subject. We can also boost our vocabulary when reading, we learn new words constantly. You can train your brain, because you need to visualize a whole world while reading. Some people read because it makes them feel good. All in all, books open up a whole new world to the reader, and have many benefits, I've only listed some, and I hope this helps you!

What is the purpose of lobbying?.
Rasek [7]

In order to sway a decision about a legislative or administrative action, lobbying is the practice of directly approaching or encouraging others to approach a member of the legislative, executive, or quasi-public bodies of government.

  • It encompasses any efforts made by people, organized organizations, or other lawmakers to sway lawmakers and authorities. "Lobbying" (also spelled "lobby") is a form of advocacy with the intention of influencing decisions made by the government by individuals or more commonly by lobby groups.
  • In a letter to a member of Congress, a Duke official requests that they abstain from voting on an amendment that would be presented during the bill's discussion. This is lobbying since it offers a viewpoint on a specific piece of legislation.

Thus this is the purpose of lobbying.
