Health
1 answer:

The answer is C. Breathing exercises helps the body with the lungs and gives more oxygen to the brain to think more clearly and calmly, thus to "settle" the body/mind.

It is clearly not D because breathing exercises has no negative effects like "decreasing sense of awareness", that is just absurd.
A and B are not true and endorphins and adrenaline are not released during breathing exercises.

Unscientific misconceptions about diseases and address the misconceptions
serg [7]

Answer:

An example of disease misconceptions is the belief that vaccines are not beneficial

Explanation:

Anti-vaccine groups have been identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the most important global threats against health security. Anti-vaccination is a movement that comes from a controversial belief based on a paper published in a top medical journal (The Lancet). This study suggested that the MMR vaccine (against measles, mumps, and rubella) might be associated with autism spectrum disorders in children. However, in other studies, it has been shown that there is no association between this vaccine and autism, thereby this controversial paper was retracted by the editors of the journal.

What is stimulus generalization?
UNO [17]
Stimulus generalization is a concept in psychology where, if you're exposed to a certain stimulus and are conditioned to react in a certain way to it, you will also react in a very similar way to stimuli that look or seem to be very similar to the original stimulus.

An example of this would be if you were bitten by a dog and are conditioned to being afraid of being bitten by a dog, you will be also likely afraid of similar dogs when you see them in different situations.
