Find the area and show work if you can.
baherus [9]

Answer:

The area of figure is 420 000 ft².

Step-by-step explanation:

You can seperate the diagram into 2 parts, top is trapezium and bottom is rectangle. Then you have to use the formula for each part :

Trapezium,

A =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (a + b) \times height

Let a = 600 ft,

Let b = 900 ft,

Let height = 200 ft,

A =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (600 + 900) \times 200

A = 150 \: 000 \:  \:  \:  {feets}^{2}

Rectangle,

A = base \times height

Let base = 900 ft,

Let height = 300 ft,

A = 900 \times 300

A = 270 \: 000 \:  \:  \:  {feets}^{2}

Lastly, you have add both areas together :

A = 150000 + 270000

A = 420 \: 000 \:  \:  \:  {feets}^{2}

The Area Ratio of two similar solids is 169: 289. If the volume of the smaller solid is 689,858 cm, what is the volume of the la
masha68 [24]

Answer:

1,542,682 cm^3.

Step-by-step explanation:

The scale factor = √169:√289

= 13:17

So the Volume ratio is 13^3:17^3

So the volume of the larger solid is  689,858 * (17^3/13^3)

= 1,542,682 cm^3.

Given the arc length of a circle is 127π centimeters and the subtended angle is 60˚. Find the Circumference of the circle.
Mumz [18]

The circumference of the circle is 762π cm.

<h3>What is length of arc of a circle?</h3>

The length of arc a circle can is determined with the radius and central angle of the arc.

The radius of the circle is calculated as follows;

L = \pi r \times \frac{ \theta }{180} \\\\&#10;\pi r \theta = 180 L\\\\&#10;\pi  r = \frac{180 L}{\theta}

The circumference of the circle is calculated as follows;

C = 2\pi r\\\\&#10;C = 2(\pi  r)\\\\&#10;C = 2(\frac{180 \ L}{\theta } )\\\\&#10;C = 2(\frac{180 \times 127\pi}{60 } )\\\\&#10;C = 762 \pi \ cm
