How would the extinction of tiger sharks impact the biodiversity of oceans?

Biology

The tiger shark is a keystone species or apex species that thrives in warm waters. The extinction of these sharks would result in the spread of certain algae to the point in which they become an invasive species. It would also result in species of smaller populations going extinct due to a possible increase in the predators that would have been otherwise controlled by tiger sharks.

hope that helped!

2. Recreation & tourism

3. Cultural values

Explanation:

Biodiversity is “the variability among existing animals from all causes including temporal, marine and other aquatic ecosystems, and the environmental complex.

Pollinators, including bees and butterflies, contribute meaningful environmental and economic advantages to agricultural and essential ecosystems, including adding heterogeneity and productivity to food crops. Though plants, fungi, and prokaryotes all have cell walls, we place them in different taxa. Which of these observations comes cl
777dan777 [17]

Answer:

b.Their cell walls have very different biochemical properties.

Explanation:

Cellulose is a homopolysaccharide of glucose residues and is the main chemical component of the cell walls of the plant cells. The glucose residues in cellulose are linked together by beta 1-4 glycosidic bonds. Chitin is a linear homopolysaccharide of glucose residues and is the main structural component of the fungal cell wall. On the other hand, peptidoglycan is the major structural component of the bacterial cell walls. Peptidoglycan is a heteropolysaccharide of two different residues. These are N-acetylglucosamine and N-acetylmuramic acid. Therefore, the chemical components and that make the cell walls in plants, fungi and bacteria differ significantly from each other imparting them distinct chemical features.
