For the first coordinate they have given it to you, so plug it in to get the y coordinate.
2x -3y = 4
2 * 2 - 3y = 4
4 - 3y = 4
4 - 4 - 3y = 4 - 4
-3y = 0
-3y/-3 = 0/-3
y = 0
(2, 0)
To find another set of coordinate to form a line, all you have to do is put in an x value that would make the line true.
2x -3y =4
2 * 8 - 3y = 4
16 - 3y = 4
16 - 16 -3y = 4 - 16
-3y = -12
-3y/-3 = -12/-3
y = 4

For this question we have:
(2, y)
and we know:
2x -3y = 4
so the only thing u need is to put 2 for x and find y:
2(2) - 3y = 4
4 - 3y = 4
-3y = 0
y =0 :)))
I hope this is helpful
have a nice day

What is the product of 2x-1 and 2x+6? Write your answer in standard form.
Rudiy27
(2x-1)(2x+6) = 4x^2-2x+12x-6 = 4x^2+10x-6. It does not equal [tex](x-2)(2x+6) because when the constant is expanded, it isn't the same as the original quadratic.

2. Name two ways of finding the rate of change of a<br> linear function
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer:

When you calculate the average rate of change of a function, you are finding the slope of the secant line between the two points. f(x) = x2 and f(x + h) = (x + h)2 Therefore, the slope of the secant line between any two points on this function is 2x + h.

What is the solution to the equation<br> 1/2x+3 = 2/3+1?
Alex

Answer:

x = -8/3

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2x+3 = 2/3+1

Combine like terms

1/2x+3 = 2/3 + 3/3

1/2x + 3 = 5/3

Subtract 3 from each side

1/2x + 3-3 = 5/3 - 3

1/2x = 5/3 - 9/3

1/2x = -4/3

Multiply each side by 2

1/2x *2 = -4/3*2

x = -8/3
