The sequence is subtracting 5.5 each time:

19 - 5.5 = 13.5

30 - 5.5 = 24.5

24.5 - 5.5 = 19

so 24.5, or 24 1/2 is your answer

hope this helps

−7x + 25 = 48 Step 1: −7x + 25 − 25 = 48 − 25 Step 2: −7x = 23 Step 3: negative seven times x over seven = twenty-three over sev
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Step 3: He should have divided both sides by −7

Step-by-step explanation:

Incorrect calculation

−7x + 25 = 48

Step 1: −7x + 25 − 25 = 48 − 25 Step 2: −7x = 23

Step 3: negative seven times x over seven = twenty-three over seven

-7*x/7 = 23/7

-7x/7 = 23/7

Step 4: x = twenty-three over seven

Correct calculation

−7x + 25 = 48

Step 1: −7x + 25 − 25 = 48 − 25 Step 2: −7x = 23

Step 3: negative seven times x over seven = twenty-three over seven

-7*x/-7 = 23/-7

-7x/-7 = 23/-7

Step 4: x = twenty-three over negative seven

x = -23/7

x is the short leg of the triangle, located across from the 30° angle. (In this problem, the short leg is labled b)

The hypotenuse leg is across from the right angle, and is always 2x (In this problem, the hypotenuse leg is labled c)

The long leg of the triangle is located across the 60° angle and is always x√3. (in this problem, the long leg is labeled a)
