Answer:

3 worms per square meter

Explanation:

In order to get to the population density of the worms, we need to take a basic measurement for it. Since we have a land area in square meters, we will take the square meter as a basic unit. On the land of 100 square meters, we have 300 worms. In order to get to the result we need to use the simple formula for population density:

population density = population / land area

300 / 100 = 3

So we have a result of 3, thus meaning that the population density of the worms is 3 worms per square meter.

What is the relationship between propagation and density change?
DerKrebs [107]

Answer: Density affect propagation.

Density is mass per unit volume of a substance.

A substance that is more sense has more mass per unit volume, it will make sound to transmit at slower rate . Less dense substance will allow sound to transmit at higher rates. Density affect the speed a wave will be transmitted through it. The denser the material, the slower wave will be transmitted.

Explanation:

Density is Mass per unit volume. Density affect the propagation of wave. The denser the substance, the slower wave will be transmitted through it. The less dense the material, the higher wave will be transmitted through it. Density affect the speed of wave.

2. Why is photosynthesis important to plants and animals?
Montano1993 [528]
Animals take oxygen from the air and exhale carbon dioxide. Plants use this carbon dioxide and release oxygen into the air. ... Photosynthesis is important to living organisms because it is plants that ultimately serve as a foundation for the food web by providing a major source of food for other living organisms.

What significance do the bases AUG, or UGA have? hint use decoder chart needed. A. a. the first one is a start codon and the sec
Minchanka [31]

Answer:

The importance of the AUG and UGA bases lies in the fact that the first one is a start codon and the second one is a stop codon, respectively (option a).

Explanation:

Codons or triplets are sequences of three nitrogenous bases, in the mRNA, that determine the synthesis of a specific amino acid.

 • AUG is called the initiation or start codon, and is usually at the beginning of a peptide synthesis, in addition to encoding the amino acid methionine.
 • UGA is a termination or stop codon found at the end of a petid chain when it is complete. UAA and UAG codons are also STOP or termination codons and, together with UGA, do not code for amino acids.

The biological importance of start and stop codons is to initiate the synthesis of a protein and to stop the addition of amino acids when their size is adequate.

Population of top level consumers in a particular ecosystem were rapidly decreasing. Further studies revealed that there was als
Lana71 [14]

Answer

Since the whole ecosystem depends on the primary producers for survival, definitely all the sizes of the population in the ecosystem will be affected. The producers(green plants ) makes use of sunlight to supply the needed energy as food substances for the consumers ( rabbit) to feed on, and the Consumers is eaten by the top level consumers e.g Leopard.

Therefore, if the population of top level consumers is decreasing, this indicated that the secondary consumers population is reducing, due to reduction in energy obtained from primary producers which has dropped due to the decline in productivity.Hence nothing fort the top consumers to feed on.
