Answer:

Antidiuretic hormone (ADH); Hyposecretion of ADH causes frequent urination and dehydration.

Explanation:

The antidiuretic hormone is released in blood by the posterior pituitary gland and serves to stimulate the water reabsorption at the collecting duct of kidneys. It results in the formation of concentrated urine and lesser loss of water from the body. ADH is released in the blood when the person is dehydrated or does not intake enough water.

Hyposecretion of ADH results in the production of the copious amount of urine and loss of lots of the water from the body. The person feels thirsty due to lower water levels of the body and develops insomnia. Therefore, the given symptoms of the patient are due to the insufficient secretion of ADH from the posterior pituitary.

A nondisjunction in meiosis I would result in generation of:
love history [14]

Answer: option D - Four abnormal gametes

Explanation:

Nondisjunction occurs in the Anaphase phase of Meiosis I. It happens that at least ONE pair of homologous chromosomes FAIL to separate, resulting in two daughter cells having an EXTRA copy of one chromosome (e.g XXY) and two cells that are missing that chromosome (e.g XO).

Thus, Nondisjunction results in Four (4) abnormal gametes

Answer:

(A). Energy is lost when machines don't work right.

Explanation:

The false statement from the choices is that energy is lost when machines do not work right.

The law of conservation of energy states that "energy can neither be created nor destroyed , they can only be converted from one form to another. "

  • Option B is clearly covered by the statement of the law. All the energy of the universe is already created.
  • Energy cannot be destroyed tallies with the Option C.
  • Energy is transformed from one form to another validates the fourth choice. We can covert from thermal to mechanical energy and vice versa.

The only odd choice is that energy is lost when a machine doesn't work right.

daser333 [38]
The bird species has presumably adapted to the conditions after the forest fire if they're still alive. They might have found a new shelter to live at and foods to eat and make it durable for the time period remaining to keep surviving.

Describe the conditions needed in order for any enzyme to function properly.
svetoff [14.1K]
Two main factors that must be taken in consideration are temperature and the pH level.
The temperature shouldn’t be too low as it slows down the rate of reaction, meaning that the enzyme will work slower, but also not too high as it will cause the enzyme to denature (stops working as it should).
The pH level is pretty much the same, shouldn’t be not too low nor too high.
