"Bis"  is one of the twelve poems of Marie de France. It was written in the 12th century.

It tells us  the story of a werewolf who was trapped in lupine form by the treachery of his wife.

In the wolf form he used to communicate with the king by being submissive to him.

In this the narrator has used three characters the wolf, the king and the wife of the wolf. Story revolves around the story of the werewolf where he tries to convince his wife and wife is just using treachery upon him.
