A tall, slender person with unusually long, slender limbs because of excess cartilage formation at the epiphyseal cartilages has Marfan's syndrome.

Marfan syndrome is an genetic disorder that affects connective tissue and the fibers that support and anchor your organs and other structures in your body. Marfan syndrome most typically affects the heart, eyes, blood vessels and skeleton.

People with Marfan syndrome are generally tall and thin with unexpectedly long arms, legs, fingers and toes. The impairment caused by Marfan syndrome is mild or severe. If your aorta is with the massive vas that carries blood from your heart to the remaining of your body part is affected, the condition can become life-threatening.

Treatment usually includes medications to stay your vital sign low to cut back the twist on your aorta. Regular monitoring to test for damage development is important. Many patients with Marfan syndrome eventually require preventive surgery to repair the aorta.

'A tall, slender person with unusually long, slender limbs because of excess cartilage formation at the epiphyseal cartilages, these are caused due to marfan syndrome.

The most severe complications of Marfan syndrome (MFS) affect the heart and aorta, with an increased risk of mitral valve prolapse and aortic aneurysm. Other common organs affected by the condition include the lungs, eyes, bones, and the covering of the spinal cord. People with the condition are typically tall and thin, with long arms, legs, fingers, and toes.

MFS is an autosomal dominant disorder that is brought on by a mutation in the gene FBN1, which produces fibrillin, and leads to aberrant connective tissue.
