Anna007 [38]

Answer and Explanation:

As we know, both New York and Buenos Aires are geographically located in America. However, they possess significant differences in culture and traditions.

1. New York is a highly diverse city, which means that you can find people from numerous nationalities living there due to a higher immigration level that occurred in the 20th century. This city is characterized by a rich art culture, involving theatre, music, visual art, and dance. In fact, it is also known as the dance capital of the world. It is also considered an expensive but safe city, in comparison to Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires, on the other hand, although exhibits a diverse population, is not as ethnically rich as New York. This city is known for its developed commerce, politics, culture, industry, and technology. Moreover, Buenas Aires has faced a history of crime and corruption.

Both cities are touristic but New York receives far more tourists than Buenos Aires.

2. In regard to food, Buenos Aires is known for meat dishes -- steak, parrillada, picanha, and empanadas. New York is a bit more diverse and, although it has great restaurants, much of the food is not "native" as it offers Italian, Mexican, Greek dishes that have been "americanized" (like the New York Pizza).  In regard to architecture, New York has trademark buildings that are highly important such as the Empire State Building, while Buenos Aires is not highly famous for its architecture. People in Buenos Aires are said to be expressive and passionate, while people in New York are considered to be a bit "colder".

galben [10]

A cyclic change in the earth system repeats the same steps over and over, though not necessarily with the same results or at the same rate.

The Earth's climate cycles across a wide range of time scales, from years to decades to centuries to millennia. Different physical processes can start cycles at different scales. All of these layered systems and cycles working in concert determine the climate over any particular period.

Scientists examine Earth's cycles in an effort to understand how our world functions. Our planet's climates can vary as a result of modifications to Earth's cycles. Our understanding of how humans are influencing these cycles and how that can transform the world will grow as we learn more about them.

statuscvo [17]

Answer:

In the history of agriculture, no technology has been adopted so quickly and completely as genetically engineered crops. Particularly useful crops are ones that have an engineered resistance to herbicides. These crops have alluring benefits: reduced crop damage when herbicides are sprayed, easier weed management, and even the potential for environmental benefits. So what’s the problem? Herbicide-resistant weeds. The benefits gleaned from these crops begin to disappear as these superweeds gain prominence on farmlands across world. However, to fully appreciate the current predicament, it is necessary to understand what led to the difficult problem of superweeds. And it starts with the most common herbicide used in agriculture: Roundup.
