Genetic variation can be caused by mutation (which can create entirely new alleles in a population), random mating, random fertilization, and recombination between homologous chromosomes during meiosis (which reshuffles alleles within an organism's offspring).

1/6+3/4 what do I do I find not know
SIZIF [17.4K]

Hey there!

First when adding fractions, you have to have the same denominator

So, the least common multiple or LCM is 12 because

6, 12

And

4, 8, 12

They both match at 12 so that is the LCM or denominator.

Now since you multiplied 6 * 2 = 12 and 3 * 4 = 12

Multiply the numerator by the same number.

So 1/6 * 2 = 2/12

And

3/4 * 3 = 9/12

Your answer is 11/12

Hope this helps

In the lab, you use a special balloon that is permeable to water but not sucrose to make an "artificial cell." The balloon is fi
Gelneren [198K]

Answer: Hypotonic

Explanation:

A solution is said to be Hypotonic if it contains less concentration of non penetrating solute and more water relative to that inside the cell.

The solution of sucrose in the artificial cell contains less solute and more water when compared to the sucrose concentration and water content of the solution in the beaker. Hence the solution in the artificial cell is said to be a Hypotonic solution.

In this experiment above water will move out of the artificial cell by osmosis and the balloon will shrink. Because water moves from higher concentration to lower concentration
