This shows that he feels like he might have to be in places he isn't supposed to be, or ask questions/have conversations that might seem out of place if he is acting 'normally'. If he is acting crazy, people will be more likely to focus on that rather than what he is doing around the castle.

Po, unlike my archetyple heroes, is clumsy and chubby. Most heroes are either very intelligent or strong but Po is made out to be neither. Po is shown falling down stairs, having a hard time edging around tight spaces, and patting his huge stomach and making it jiggle. He gets winded after a long walk but ends up training in kunfu and beating the villian.
