What issues are important in choosing a new<br> president?
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

Explanation:

What does luther mean by good works? why does he believe that the roman catholic church distorts the role of good works in a chr
Olin [163]
For Luther the true meaning of "church" was: a reunion of people who helps each other and money didn't mattered; but the Roman catholic church in that time needed money to do the "cupola di San Marco" in Rome (Vatican) so they started to sell forgets for the people sins, so the church started to gain money, and the population was sure not to go to hell. Luther believed that to be forgiven people would've repent and than, only by the true regret they could've been saved.

the good works were to help the poor and the ills and staying away from the richness of the superior and selfish church.

What was Angelina and Sarah Grimkes contribution to the abolitionist movement?
Liono4ka [1.6K]
The Grimke sisters were Quakers who were known to have a belief of equality between the races and the sexes. After moving to Pennsylvania, the sisters became active on the lecture circuit informing people about abolition but also fighting for women's rights. They brought the two ideas of the two movements together initiating the idea that all people in the US should be granted the rights of citizenship and freedom. These women were the first females to lecture publicly in addition to writing articles for abolitionist newspapers. They were able to propel the abolitionist movement forward and incorporate female reformers into the movement. Additionally they worked on beginning the feminist movement leading to the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention held by Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
