Answer:

The correct answer is C)Women often suffer silently within male-dominated societies.

Explanation:

Trifles is a one act play written by American writer, journalist Susan Glaspell. It tells the story of Mrs. Wright, a woman whose behavior leads to finding her dead husband in her own house. Mrs. Hale is one of the characters and also one of her neighbors, and the County Attorney is in charge of the case.

Since the play is about why Mrs. Wright killed her husband (apparently because of a bird the man had killed), the events show that the woman was abused by Mr. Wright, and, even though there are proves that she killed him, people around her prefer to hide them since they believe it was reasonable to kill Mr. Wright. So, if Mrs. Wright hadn't done anything, her husband would've continued abusing her; on the other hand, if all the facts had seen the light, she would've gone to jail, indicating that she would've suffered anyways due to the male-dominated society.

What effect does the point of view have on a story?
nataly862011 [7]
It’s A) what information is revealed.
If the story was in first person point of view the information that would be revealed would be less/more because its centered on them.

B) sounds like a math equation so its not B.

C) the resolution depends on whatever the story is about not the point of view so not C.

D) Conflicts will arise no matter the POV, it will just be handled differently so not D.

E) The setting does not depend on the point of view but the author, the point of view will only affect the “intensity” of the place, not E.

Why did the Great Plains begin to erode
ahrayia [7]

Answer:When severe drought struck the Great Plains region in the 1930s, it resulted in erosion and loss of topsoil because of farming practices at the time. The drought dried the topsoil and over time it became friable, reduced to a powdery consistency in some places.
