Part A
Helen Keller's word choice in her description of her lessons with her teacher help to reveal that she is a very detail-oriented person. Being blind and deaf, she only had the sense of touch, smell, and taste, all of which are not very easy to receive information through. The way Helen Keller was able to describe the world around her was with the feelings and the smells of the earth, and this tells us how happy she is to pay her mind to these details. (I wrote this without knowing it was multiple choice, but yeah the answer is B.)
Part B
The word choice in the second and third paragraphs help to develop the idea presented in Part A? The answer is C.

This story made me feel sad
However, the purpose of this story is to reveal the cruelty of our world and the protectors who help and protect children
The quote, "Nobody wants to be told what they're doing is wrong" is true. Sometimes, we never accept when we're wrong.
"and you see the terror" represents that nobody cared until something had to happen.
I'm sorry I couldn't get much from these quotes. This topic is a bit tough for me sometimes and I'm just doing my best to help.
It doesn't look informal, but it is. Here's the evidence.
- The "miracle" is at first sight an accountant, not one of the disciples. It is a bit inaccurate and exaggerated which formal writing would not do.
- He came out to get a "breath of fresh air." This is quoted directly from what the man said. A breath of fresh air is not very formal. What did he actually do? He took a break from his work.
- The writing records a detail that the author is apologetic for. It was an unnecessary detail, but there is a reason for including him. We don't know what it is, but formal writing would never admit to including this. Or if it did use it, there would be no apology.
- Formal writing is very careful about how quotations are used and for what purpose.
