c. decide on a topic for the essay

a. create an outline for the essay

e. write a draft of the essay

d. revise and rewrite the draft of the essay

b. skim and edit the essay for surface errors

In order for you to begin any piece of writing or planning for your essay, you first need to know what you're writing about so deciding on a topic is first. Second, it is helpful to have a general outline or road map for your essay. This helps you to stay on topic with your paragraphs as well as point out any immediate problems with organizational structure. The next is to write a rough draft for the essay. Once you have the draft and know exactly how it all goes together, you can go back and revise for major errors and better language. It's not worth the time to check for minor errors if you end up making major revisions at this stage. Once all of the major revisions are completed, then it's important to spell and grammar check the essay for things that may have been overlooked.

The correct order for writing an essay would be "C A E D B", since it is very important to have a rough idea of what you want the essay to be about before you start writing.

What is George’s pint of view from mice and the men
wlad13 [49]

The point of view used by John Steinbeck in the novel Of Mice and Men is third person omniscient and objective. This means that the narrative is not given by a character within the story. It also means that the narrator knows everything about the characters, and the plot itself.

Read the excerpt from "The Storyteller."
Stells [14]

Answer:  The aunt wants the bachelor to learn his lesson, but she learns hers instead.

Bertha thinks that it is good to win medals for goodness, but the medals get her killed.

Explanation:

  • She thought that the story that is told to the kids is not good for them. After that, she told him that the years of good teaching are wasted. We can see an irony in the text because her teaching was bad even with good methods. She didn't know to entertain the children so the bachelor did it much better than her. That is why she learns the lesson instead of him.
  • Another answer that is correct is also having irony because the medals got her in the trouble. She was very proud because of those medals and she wore them all the time. She wore them on her and the medals were producing a sound so when she slipped into the bushes, the wolfs were knowing were she was hiding.
