Do I need to lose weight? I weigh 135 pounds, and I'm 5'2. I eat pretty healthy, (I.E. lower carbs, saturated fats, sugars, sodi

um...etc.) and I excercise 4 days a week, so I am fit, but I still have extra jiggle. Is it just society telling me that I'm a disgusting fatty, or should I try a more strict diet?

Answer:

The correct answer is herd immunity

Explanation:

Herd immunity is a type of immunity provided by the major population which is vaccinated or immune against an infectious to some individual of their community which is not immune to that infection.

Herd immunity is generated only when most of the population is immune to that particular disease. For example, in measles, 90-95% of a population should be vaccinated against measles to provide herd immunity to the un-immune individuals. So the correct answer is herd immunity.

Dental students healed more slowly from punch wounds received three days prior to a major exam than from punch wounds received d
astraxan [27]

Answer:

lymphocytes

Explanation:

Lymphocyte is a type of cell that is part of the body's immediate defense, acting against cancer cells and viral infections. Also, these cells are very important in wound healing. Slower healing of an injury is best explained by temporarily reduced lymphocyte production.

The concentration of these cells in the blood depends on the individual's physical condition: in cases of immunodeficiency, the concentration is low (lymphopenia); when there are infections or rejection of transplants, it increases (lymphocytosis). Lymphocyte count is a widely used test for monitoring diseases and infections such as those caused by HIV.
