2x= \frac{3}{4}


To get x on it's own we need to divide by 2 on both sides:

x= \frac{ \frac{3}{4} }{2}


This is the same as:

x= \frac{3}{4} /  \frac{2}{1}


We can flip and multiply to solve the division of fractions:
\frac{3}{4}* \frac{1}{2}   =  \frac{3*1}{4*2} =  \frac{3}{8}


So now the equation (and solution) is:

x= \frac{3}{8}
