Answer:

$ 15

Explanation:

Assuming Brittany cannot price differentiate each individual so she can either charge $15 or $10 to all. We will solve for both prices for information purposes.

Total daily revenue if she charges $15 :

15 *4 = $60 as only 4 people will buy manicures

Total daily revenue if she charges $10 :

10 * 8 = $80 all 8 people will purchase

Costs if she charges $15:

5 * 4 + 25 = $45

Costs if she charges $10:

5 * 8 + 25 = $65

So, profits

For $15 =  60 - 45 = $15

For $10 = 80 - 65 = $ 15

So both amounts result in same maximum profits.

Hope that helps.

Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

b) Dwight is liable for negligence because Stan did not knowingly assume the risk that Dwight would hit a shot in his direction

Explanation:

In this scenario there was an agreement between Stan and Dwight where Dwight asked Stan to drive ahead in the golf cart to see if they could hit their shots.

However Stan drove the cart over the hill, saw the green was clear, and started driving back to the tee box.

Instead of waiting as agreed Dwight made a shot that hit Stan on the head injuring him.

Dwight is liable in this case because he was supposed to wait and get feedback from Stan before making a shot.

He knowingly made the shot knowing there was a blind spot.

This is negligence on Dwight's part.

The management of money and interest rates is called ________ policy and is conducted by a nation's ________ bank.
Anna007 [38]

The management of money and interest rates is called monetary policy and is conducted by a nation's central bank.

Interest is the amount paid by the borrower or deposit-taking financial institution to the lender or depositor in excess of the repayment of the principal at a specified rate. It is different from a fee that a borrower can pay to a lender or a third party.

Interest is the price you pay to borrow money or the cost you charge to borrow money. Interest is usually given as an annual percentage of the loan amount. This percentage is called the interest rate on the loan. For example, if you deposit money in a savings account, your bank will pay you interest.

Leokris [45]

Answer:

A) the range of variation

Explanation:

In statistics, the range is a measure of variation which includes the highest value and the lowest value, in other words, the extreme points.

In this case, the range of variation represents the extreme points at which it is OK to plant our seeds. If we plant seeds more than 13" apart then we aren't doing it correctly, the same if we pant them less than 11" apart.

On January 1, a company issued and sold a $408,000, 9%, 10-year bond payable, and received proceeds of $403,000. Interest is pay
MariettaO [177]

Answer and Explanation:

The Journal entry is shown below:-

Bond interest expense Dr, $18,610

         To Cash $18360

           To Discount on bonds $250

(Being first interest payment is recorded)

For recording the first interest payment we simply debited the bond interest expenses as it increased the expenses and we credited cash and discount on bonds as  it reduced the assets and the discount should be credited

Working Note

Total discount on bonds issued = Sold bonds - Received proceeds

= $408,000 - $403,000

= $5,000

Amortization of Semi Annual Discount = Total discount on bonds issued ÷ Number of periods

= $5,000 ÷ 20

= $250

Cash interest paid = Sold bonds × Interest rate × From Jan to June ÷ Total number of months in a year

= $408,000 × 9% × 6 ÷ 12

= $18,360

Total Interest expense = Cash interest paid + Amortization of Semi Annual Discount

= $18,360 + $250

= $18,610
