So slope intercept form is y=mx+b
m=slope b=y intercept
convert current equation to slpe intercept
y-4=x-8
add 4 to both sides
y=x-4
tada

Using the y1-y2 and x1-x2 method, take 4-2, over, 8-0= 1/4. (m=1/2, or slope)
Then just use any of the coordinates to plug in the equation. y=mx+b

4=1/4(8)+b
4=2+b
b=2

Thus, your final equation is y= 1/4x+2

10^-2 + 8 round the coefficient to two decimal places
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

I believe it is .0801

Step-by-step explanation:

- A negative exponent will always turn into a fraction

- First change it to a fraction

1/10^2

- Simplify the exponent

10 times 10 = 100

- Change the fraction

1/100 or in decimal form which is 0.01

- Now the addition

8 + 0.01 = <u>8.01</u>

- Move decimal to two decimal places

.0801

Carlos graphs the equations y = 0.5x2 + 3 and y = –4x2 + 24x – 35 and generates the graph below. Which conclusion is supported b
never [62]

Answer:

It has no solution

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have to draw the graph of y = 0.5x^2 + 3 and y = -4x^2 + 24x - 35.

I have attached the graph of these two functions.

Since the graphs of the functions didn't cut each other.

Therefore, answer is "it has no solution."

Hope this will helpful.

Thank you.

What is 7/2 as a mixed number
kompoz [17]

Hello! :)

Answer:

\huge\boxed{3\frac{1}{2}}

\frac{7}{2} as a mixed number:

Divide 2 from 7 and find the remainder:

7 ÷ 2 = 3 R 1.

An improper fraction in mixed form has the quotient as the coefficient, and the remainder over the fraction. Therefore:

\frac{7}{2} = 3\frac{1}{2}

Add. Simplify the answer to lowest terms before entering the numerator and denominator in their boxes. 11/16 + 3/16
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

The answer is 7/8.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you add 11/16 to 3/16, you'll get 14/16.  14/16 has two numbers that are divisible by 2,  so when you divide 14/16 by 2 you'll get 7/8 which is 14/16 in a simplified form.  7 is prime and you can't divide it down any more, but 8 i'snt the same way.  The rule is, whatever you do to one side, you have to do to the other.  You can divide 8, but not 7; therefore, you cannot simplify the fraction any further.
