This is a quadratic whose graph will be the shape of a U.

when x = 0 y = 0 so it will pass through the origin ( the point (0,0).

Plot a few more points - say when x = 1 and x = -1 . Also when x = 3 and x = 3

For example when x = 1 y will be -1 - 1^2 = 0 giving the point (1, 0)

Note the minimum point will be (0.5, -0.25)
