History

The Nuremberg Trials were held for the purpose of bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, the Nuremberg trials were a series of 13 trials carried out in Nuremberg, Germany, between 1945 and 1949. The defendants, who included Nazi Party officials and high-ranking military officers along with German industrialists, lawyers and doctors, were indicted on such charges as crimes against peace and crimes against humanity. Nazi leader Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) committed suicide and was never brought to trial. Although the legal justifications for the trials and their procedural innovations were controversial at the time, the Nuremberg trials are now regarded as a milestone toward the establishment of a permanent international court, and an important precedent for dealing with later instances of genocide and other crimes against humanity.

Lines 239–254: Cite evidence to explain the opposing view and counterargument that King presents in these lines.
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

These evidences are gotten from his personal experiences, direct quotations, and examples.

Explanation:

King believed that the Vietnam War was diverting money and the attention from domestic programs which were created to help the black poor.

King's counter argument was:

"People will say that I am just a civil rights leader and have no business taking sides on the issue of war."

His argument was:

"The issue of America's soul is my concern whether it be about civil rights or war".

He said, ‘the war was doing far more than devastating the hopes of the poor at home…We were taking the black young men who had been crippled by our society and sending them eight thousand miles away to guarantee liberties in Southeast Asia which they had not found in southwest Georgia and East Harlem.'”

What is the danger possibility regarding individualism in a democratic society
Aleonysh [2.5K]
The individualistic and isolated people think of themselves only. They pose a threat of crime in the society.
Individualism also brings a feeling of consumerism and desire of comfort in the people. To achieve this in an easy and quick way, they adapt wrong pathways.
Individualism also makes people less connected to their families and they lack apathy towards other, which is harmful to a society.
