I would need the see the scale drawing of the original soccer field to answer this question. but you should just divide the original dimensions by 3.

Answer:

b 3 inches, 2 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

In the figure attached, the complete question is shown.

Originally the scale is 1 inch: 12 yards, the width is 6 inches, that is, 6*12 = 72 yards, and the length is 9 yards, that is, 9*12 = 108 yards

If the scale is 1 inch: 36 yards, then 72 yards are:

1 inch / x inches = 36 yards / 72 yards

x = 72/36 = 2 inches

which represents the new width.

And 108 yards are:

1 inch / x inches = 36 yards / 108 yards

x = 108/36 = 3 inches

which represents the new length.

Which graph represents the solution set of y=x^2+4x+3and y=2x+6?
rewona [7]

Answer:

(1,8) and (-3,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

We simply graph the two functions in the same graph. The solution set to the system is given by the points where the two functions intersect. For this case, the two functions intersect at;

(1,8) and (-3,0)

The solution set is thus; (1,8) and (-3,0)

Circle the correct words in each of the following statements.Given that x(t) is a real function with the Fourier transform X(f):
Kryger [21]

Answer:

(a) even function

(b) odd function

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given information;

Any function x(t) can be said to be the sum of even and odd functions.

i.e.

x(t) = x_e(t) + x_o(t)

where;

x(t) is a real function.

For a  real and even function, the Fourier transform is also real and even.

x_e(t)  \iff x_e(f) \\ \\

Also, the Fourier Transform of a real and odd function is imaginary and odd.

x_o(t) \iff x_o(f)

The behavior of X(f) largely depends on the behavior of x(t).

If x(t) is real and even, then x(f) is real and even valued function

Thus, the real part of X(f) is an even function.

If x(t) is real and odd, then x(f) is imaginary and odd valued function

Thus, the imaginary part of X(f) is an odd function.
