Which of the following expressions will find the sum of interior angles of a polygon with 14 sides?

Central angle of polygon with 14 sides is:
a = 360/14

that means that interior angle is:
b = (180 - 360/14)/2

because sum of angles in a triangle is 180.
each triangle has 2*b angles and there are 14 angles. so sum of all those angles is:
2*b*14 = (180-360/14)/2*14*2 = 180*14-360 = 180*14 - 2*180 = 180*(14-2)

Answer is second option.

(Giving 70 points! Also brainly, if it isnt a good answer it gets reported!)
Sati [7]

Answer: Answers provided below in sequential order.

Step-by-step explanation: UV = 12(3)-1

(They said that x = 3)

UV = 35 (12*3-1)

70 = TV

TU = UV

8x + 11 = 12x - 1

-4x = 10

x = -10/4 or -5/2 (simplified)

TU = 8 (3) + 11

TU = 35 (24+11)

A manufacturer produces bearings, but because of variability in the production process, not all of the bearings have the same di
Lena [83]

Answer:

Proportion of all bearings falls in the acceptable range = 0.9973 or 99.73% .

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the diameters have a normal distribution with a mean of 1.3 centimeters (cm) and a standard deviation of 0.01 cm i.e.;

Mean, \mu = 1.3 cm            and           Standard deviation, \sigma = 0.01 cm

Also, since distribution is normal;

                 Z = \frac{X -\mu}{\sigma} ~ N(0,1)

Let X = range of diameters

So, P(1.27 < X < 1.33) = P(X < 1.33) - P(X <=1.27)

  P(X < 1.33) = P( \frac{X -\mu}{\sigma} < \frac{1.33 -1.3}{0.01} ) = P(Z < 3) = 0.99865

  P(X <= 1.27) = P( \frac{X -\mu}{\sigma} < \frac{1.27 -1.3}{0.01} ) = P(Z < -3) = 1 - P(Z < 3) = 1 - 0.99865

                                                                                            = 0.00135

 P(1.27 < X < 1.33) = 0.99865 - 0.00135 = 0.9973 .

Therefore, proportion of all bearings that falls in this acceptable range is 99.73% .

Sam decides to build a square garden. If the area of the garden is 25x2 + 30x + 9 square feet, what is the length of one side of
seropon [69]
The correct answer is C. (5x+3) feet, and here is how I got it.
This is the equation you need to use:
(a+b)^2 = (a+b) (a+b)
So, let us plug in 5x and 3 here:
(5x+3)^2 = (5x+3)(5x+3) = 25x^2 + 15x + 15x + 9 = 25x^2 + 30x + 9 which is the area of the garden.
