Here's how I like to represent this:

Randy = 7

Randy * 2 = Ann

Ann + 3 = Janet

Janet + 5 = Donald

If we go along and fill in the blanks for each equation, we do this:

7 * 2 = 14

14 + 3 = 17

17 + 5 = 22

So Donald solved 22 problems.

Hope this helps!

How do I solve for a, b and c?
Naya [18.7K]
Firstly expand (x - 3)(ax^2 + bx + c):
ax^3 + bx^2 + cx - 3ax^2 - 3bx - 3c

Now rearrange it so that it's in the form ax^3 + bx^2 + cx + d:
ax^3 + (b-3a)x^2 + (c-3b)x - 3c

Now we can compare both equations:
ax^3 + (b-3a)x^2 + (c-3b)x - 3c = 2x^3 - x^2 - 19x + 12

We get:
(1) a = 2
(2) b - 3a = -1
(3) c - 3b = -19
(4) -3c = 12

If we substitute (1) into (2) we get:
b - 3*2 = -1
b - 6 = -1
b = 5

Now if we solve (4) we get:
-3c = 12
c = -4

Therefor a = 2, b = 5 and c = -4

Answer:

I think it's G

Step-by-step explanation:

Since a=8 root 3=8×3=24cm

Yh so I multiplied the 24cm by 12cm

12cm×24cm=288cm squared

and the square root of 288cm is 96 root 3 cm squared

Ronch [10]

Answer:

REQUIRED TEST STATICS IS 35.19

Step-by-step explanation:

total size of sample = 10,000

                                     men                            women

voted                           2777                            3466

did not vote                  1444                             2313

By chi square test we can find the relationship between gender and participation in the election

X^2 = \frac{ N(ad-bc)^2}{(a+c)(b+d)+(a+b)(c+d)}

where

a represent  = 2777, b = 3466, c= 1444, d = 2313, N = 10000

Putting values to get chis square statics

X^2 = \frac{ 10000(2777*2313-3466*1444)^2}{(2777+1444)(3466+2313)+(2777+3466)(1444+2313)}

X^2 = = 35.159

HENCE REQUIRED TEST STATICS IS 35.19
