The length of a football field is 91 meters which is equal to 0.091 km
so to run about 1km back and forth across the length of a football team, one will run for 1/0.091= 10.98 times which approximately 11 times.

A triangle has a area of 36 square feet. if the height is 6 feet more than it's base, what are its height and base
shutvik [7]
The formula for a triangle's area =1/2bh. Since you already have the height, and area, plug those in.

36=1/2b(6)
36=b3
12=b
Your base is 12 feet.

A line has a slope of
padilas [110]
Step 1. The General Equation of a straight line is

Y = Mx + C where

M is the slope and
C is that point on the y axis where the curve cuts that axis (where x = 0)
In this case we are told that M = (3/4)

Our equation is now Y = (3/4)X + C ••• Equ 1

We are told that this curve passes through Point ( x, y ) = ( 8, -1 ).

Substitute these values of x, and y into Equ 1 to find C.

Y = (3/4)X + C or

( -1 ) = ( 3/4 )*( 8 ) + C or

( -1 ) = ( 6 ) + C or

C = ( - 7 )

Therefore the Equation of the Point Slope curve is

Y = ( 3/4 )X - 7

: Hope this helps :)

The diagram below shows a rectangle with a shaded region. What is the area, in square meters, of the shaded region in the diagra
Mila [183]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of shaded region= area of rectangle- area of triangle

Area of rectangle= l×b

                            =9×3

                            = 27m²

Area of triangle= \frac{1}{2} b×h

                        =\frac{1}{2} ×3×3

                        =\frac{9}{2} ⇒4.5

Area of shaded region= area of rectangle- area of triangle

                                     =27-4.5

                                     =22.5m²
