The structure of the clean air act was created in 1970. It was also amended between 1977 and 1990. The clean air act is a federal law that was put in place to protect public health and the environment from several consequences of air pollution.

Domestic policy is decisions that are taken by a government to addresses issues and needs within their country. This policy is created by the federal government.
