In predation one individual (predator) feeds on another (prey), which is of a different species from his own. When the predation consists of an animal that feeds on plants or some of its parts, we have the herbivory predation. When the predation consists of an animal that feeds on another animal, we have the carnivorous predation. Since predation establishes a system where only one individual benefits, we can compare predation to parasitism.
Predation is similar to parasitism, wherein one specie is benefited and the other is harmed. Parasitism involves an organism that lives inside a host and absorbs its nutrients.
The fluid inside of the Extracellular Matrix is Extracellular Fluid. Extracellular Fluid is also called ECF. ECF is mostly tissue fluid. It is also made up of a large amount of intravascular fluid. The remaining smaller amount of ECF is transcellular fluid.
