What was a motivation for capitalist societies to control trade routes in parts of the world previously unknown to them?
Nataly [62]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Control a heavily desired or needed supply/luxury that is only known to exist in 1 part of the world, and you have a monopoly on it, and you can control the price to your liking, and other countries can't do anything about it, so if they want it, they'll have to pay the price you set.

PLEASE HELP!!!! Why was the Battle of Saratoga a turning point in the American Revolution?
olchik [2.2K]

The reason the Battle of Saratoga being a turning point in the American Revolution is that it convinced the French to join the war on the side of the colonists .

Explanation:

The battle of Saratoga, in reality, which occurred near Albany in Saratoga County, New York from September 1777 to October 1777 and marked a turning point in the American Revolution, as it eventually convinced the French to become stronger in the Americas.

The battle for Freeman's Farm and Bemis Heights were the two important battles.

Such disputes would mean that the French would join themselves with the colonies and support French officers, ships and military personnel. France would subsequently declare a war against England.
