A narrative essay is the one that tells a story. It talks about a particular event or a series of events and describes the kind of experience that the writer (or protagonist) got from it. In other words, you have to write about what happened to you and how it influenced you.
The Transcontinental Railroad was also instrumental in putting thousands of people to work, and also they were instrumental in transporting cattle and resources in much more efficient ways.

(and even today) operas began with the overture. It was an instrumental

whom composers such as Beethoven and Mendelssohn began to use the term to refer
