A diner has a breakfast special. A customer can chose scrambled, fried, or poached eggs. The breakfast comes with a side of bacon, sausage, or fruit salad. The customer can choose coffee, tea, or milk. How many different combinations of eggs, side, and drink does a customer have to choose from?

Solution:

Number of ways the customer can choose eggs=3

Number of ways the customer can choose side=3

Number of ways the customer can choose drinks=3

So, total number of combinations for choosing eggs and side and drinks

=3(for eggs) and 3(for sides) and 3(for drinks)

=3 * 3 *3

=27

A customer has 27 combinations of eggs, side, and drink available.

Plssss answer… for math
Greeley [361]

Answer:

Graph A is a function, and Graph B is not

Step-by-step explanation:

A function is when each x-value (aka input) has 1 corresponding y-value (or output).

We see that graph 1 is linear, and that each x-value has it's own y-value, and not multiple y-values.

However, Graph B curves, making it so some of the x-values have more than 1 y-value.

A 360 degree rotating sprinkler that sprays water at a radius of 11 feet is used to water a lawn. What is the Area of the lawn t
denpristay [2]

Answer:

Area=121\pi ft^2 in terms of \pi.

Step-by-step explanation:

A 360 degree rotating sprinkler will water a full circular region of the lawn.

The area of this circular region is calculated using the formula:

Area=\pi r^2

where r=11 feet is the radius of the circular region covered.

We substitute the value of the radius into the formula to get:

Area=\pi \times 11^2

Area=121\pi ft^2 in terms of \pi.

This is approximately 380.1 ft^2 to the nearest tenth

Plz help me .. I am really stumped!!!!!!! part of the set for a play is a big triangular piece of plywood. the area of the trian
saul85 [17]
The way to find the area of a triangle is A=\frac{B*H}{2}
if the base is 3 feet longer then the height we can write it like this B=H+3

now we can add it to our area equation
20=\frac{H(H+3)}{2}
20=\frac{ h^{2} +3h}{2}
40=H^{2}+3H
10\frac{1}{3}=H^{2}
h=3.2ft
