Hi, Thepersonwhoneedsyou!
In scientific notation you have to move the decimal(to the right or left) in order to get a number between 1-10! I moved the decimal 5 times to the left to get a number between 1-10!
9.05 *10^5
I hope this helps:)
177.78 is the present value of $200 received in one year.
What do interest rates mean?
- An interest rate indicates how expensive borrowing is or how lucrative saving is.
- Therefore, if you are a borrower, the interest rate is the sum you pay for borrowing money and is expressed as a percentage of the overall loan amount.
What is an example of interest rates?
The basic interest formula is as follows, for instance, if you take out a $20,000 loan with a five-year term and a 5% interest rate: $5,000 in interest results from multiplying $20,000 by.05 by 5.
PV=FV * (1+i)^-n
=200\1.125
= 177.78

Answer is D
remember you can put whole numbers as fractions too
so 7 would be 7/1
you can simply multiple across for fractions:
7/1 * 1/10
Horse = x = 1 head and 4 feet
Chicken =y = 1 head and 2 feet
Horse + chicken = x + y = 43 ( total heads)
Horse = 43 - y
4x + 2y = 122
4(43-y) + 2y = 122
Simplify:
172-4y + 2y = 122
Combine like terms
172-2y = 122
Subtract 172 from both sides
-2y = -50
Divide both sides by-2
Y = 25
X + y = 43
X + 25 = 43
X = 18
There are 18 horses and 25 chickens.
