Answer:  480 patient.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, the local hospital has decided to follow the 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, how many patients can they treat if they have 120 nurses.

Therefore, New ratio of the nurses and patients = 1 : 4

Let the number of nurses = x and number of patients = 4x

Where x is any number,

But, according to question number of nurses = 250

That is, x = 120

⇒ 4x = 4×120 = 480

Therefore, number of patients = 480

11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

The dog will reach the tree first.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the tree is 30 yards from the dog's starting position, and the cat is 10 yards ahead of the dog, then the cat is 20 yards away from the tree. The dog runs at 8 yps, and the cat runs at 6yps. The cat would get there in approximately 3 seconds, and the dog would be ahead of the cat by 3 yards within 2 seconds, so the dog would be there before the cat would.
