Since the block is a cube, the dimentions from corner to corner equal all the same, as long as the pieces are equal, which in this case, they are. :) So basically what you need to do is find the perimeter of one side of the cube, and that's the answer.

Help! im awful at these problems!!<br> solve the formula: t=v+k/g for g.
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

g = \frac{k}{t-v}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

t = v + \frac{k}{g}

Multiply through by g to clear the fraction

tg = vg + k ( subtract vg from both sides )

tg - vg = k ← factor out g from each term on the left side

g(t - v) = k ← divide both sides by (t - v)

g = \frac{k}{t-v}

I am thinking of a number, let's call it x . If I increase twice my number by 5, the result is the same as if I triple my number
Mrrafil [7]

Answer: 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be x

If I increase twice my number by 5, the result is the same as if I triple my number and subtract 1. This can be formed into an equation as:

(2 × x) + 5 = (3 × x) - 1

2x + 5 = 3x - 1

5 + 1 = 3x - 2x

x = 6

The number you are thinking of is 6

Find the volume of the lunch box shown here.
Papessa [141]
Check the picture below.

so the lunchbox is really a semi-circle with a radius of 3, sitting on top of a square of 6x6, with a lenght of 10.

the volume of the lunchbox then will be the area of the semi-circle and square times the length.

\bf \left[ \stackrel{\textit{semi-circle's area}}{\frac{\pi 3^2}{2}}+\stackrel{\textit{square's area}}{(6\cdot 6)} \right]\stackrel{length}{10}\implies \left(  \frac{9\pi }{2}+36\right)(10)
