If the total bill is $85, and you want to leave a 15% tip, then you can calculate it as follows:

85 * 15%

= 85 * 0.15

= 12.75

The amount that should be left as a tip is D. $12.75.

What's 4*72 rewritten using the distributive property?
NemiM [27]
4*72=288 is the first step you do. I then decided to do 72/4 which is 18 to get the inside number. 4(18*1) is what I got finally because when you do distributive property 4*18=72 and 481=4. Once all of that is done, you come right back to the same problem you had at first.

If you have 54 blue marbles and 99 yellow marbles, what is the greatest number of identical marble bags that can be made without
shepuryov [24]
The answer should be D) 18 because both 54 and 99 can divide by 3 and when you divide 54 by 3, you get 18 and that's the most bags you can have while still having both colors. Hope I could help.

Find the present value that will grow $1000 if the annual interest rate is 7.5% compounded quarterly for 5 years
Reil [10]

Answer:

911.3010934

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula:

A = P(1 + r/4)^n

In this case:

A = 100

P = ?

R = .075 (7.5%)

N = 5

---

1000 = P(1+.075/4)^5

1000 = P(1.01875)^5

1000 = P(1.097332163)

1000/1.097332163 = P

P = 911.301
