Use the chart to answer the question. Which battle is considered a turning point in the war? Date Battle Result April 19, 1775 L
Y_Kistochka [10]
The correct answer is the Battle of Saratoga.

The Battle of Saratoga, which took place in October of 1777, was considered a turning point for multiple reasons. For one, it was one of the first times that the American colonists were able to get the British military to surrender. Another reason why it is a turning point is this battle showed France that the American colonists actually had a shot at defeating the British. After this battle, the French send support to the American colonists. This support from the French is critical to the success of the American colonists in the Revolutionary War.

“I️ hope to have God on my side, but I️ must have Kentucky.” What does Abraham Lincoln mean by this
Yuri [45]
During the Civil War, Kentucky was a border state, but they on the south's side "team" (they had slaves and wanted to keep them). During this war, the north and south had a war, known as the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln wanted Kentucky on his side, the north side. Kentucky was a border state, therefore he wanted it to be on the north's side since it wasn't completely in the south. I believe he says he must have Kentucky because it's another state on his side to help with this war, if that makes sense.

Critics of capitalism pointed to an trait of capitalism that they saw as a big problem what was their main problem with capitali
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

The critique of capitalism refers to views and theories that criticize the economic order that spreads with industrialization, which is based on private property, market economy, capital accumulation, dependent wage labor and the individual pursuit of profit, either in principle or in individual aspects.

Hardly different from capitalism itself, the history of criticism of capitalism dates back to the 19th century. The criticism is expressed in individual elements of capitalism such as money and interest management, private ownership of means of production and maximization of profit as well as the consequences attributed to them such as exploitation and impoverishment of the working class.

Practical criticism of capitalism can manifest itself in the establishment of cooperatively organized companies and banks or alternative economic sectors as well as in the partial or full takeover of individual economic segments by actors who pursue less individual pursuit of profit than tasks and goals oriented towards the common good.
