Hello!

The abreviation after a word in a dictionary tell you what part of speech the defined word is.

So in Other words, it is the part of speech. usually like v., adj., or noun, adv. pronoun and so on...
So Yes, the defined word can be a noun (n), pronoun (pron), adjective (adj), adverb (adv), verb (vb), conjunction (conj), preposition (prep), or interjection (interj).

Other parts of a dictionary are:

Entry word - word to be defined
pronunciation - how to pronounce the entry word
part of speech - what part of speech the entry word is
definition - literal meaning of the entry word
plural form - how the entry word is writted in plural form
origin - shows the origin of the entry word

Guide words - tells the first and last words found in the page
pronunciation guides - explains the meaning of the symbols used in the pronunciation.

So The Correct Answer in this Case would be 100% Option "D".

-Dominant- [34]

One of the core values of Friedrich Nietzsche is that

 • there has been a moral crusade to eliminate desires

Friedrich Nietzsche is a German philosopher that was born in 1844 and died in 1900. He was averse to the concept of morality.

He believed that when humans formulate concepts on morality, they limit themselves from experiencing and being their true nature.

He proposed that most of these ideals were simply invented by man and were not absolute. For example, he mentioned that the belief in God was limiting because people will be restricted from doing certain things.

When you fear punishment from a higher being, you may not want to do things you normally would.

Conclusively, we can deduce that Nietzsche believed that there is a moral crusade to eliminate desires.

What is the difference between principal and principle

never [62]

The word Principal refers to a senior person of an organization like school or college principal. Whereas, the word Principle refers to doctrine or fundamental truth. These are similar-sounding words.

Because of how some words in English sound or are spelled, they are frequently used interchangeably. English is a difficult language. Even while we are aware that the words are distinct, our computers' spellcheck and our phones' autocorrect occasionally trick us with their corrections and make us believe differently. But if you want to communicate effectively, you must be fluent in the language you choose to employ. Thus, we must take care of similar-sounding words.

How is Orson Welles's character Macbeth different from Shakespeare's Macbeth?
neonofarm [45]
This film version is extremely different from the play in a number of ways. For example, all of the Porter’s racy lines had to be cut, censorship being super strict in the 1940s. Moreover, the character of Donalbain is removed altogether and many lines were edited or reassigned.Welles had chosen to add a character, the Holy Man, whose purpose, according to the director and star, was to portray the battle between the ‘old’ religion (Paganism) and ‘new’ religion (Christianity).
