These changes are propense to occur by different factors. One is when there is discontent in society. When people are tired of repressive governments and lack of opportunities. That is when most revolutions have started. Another motive is unconformity and the necessity of change. When people in society want or need more. When they are not satisfied with what they have and aspire to get some more. That is when technology helps them to create better-living conditions.

There are circumstances under why these changes cannot occur. It could be when there is a division in society and some portion of it wants to change but the other is not considering it as an option. Another one could be when there is the necessity or change but for the moment there are no better options available than the mere situation that exists. Sometimes, people in a society are afraid of the consequences can have and they better stay the way they are instead of making a change. Uncertainty always creates fear in people.

Which of the causes do you feel that led to the civil war the most? Explain why?(2-3 sentences)
nirvana33 [79]
Abraham Lincoln winning the President contributed most to the Civil War. After he won the election, southerners were scared that Lincoln would try to get rid of slavery and change their traditions. Once Abe Lincoln was elected, states started to secede (like South Carolina) from the Union just a couple months later. This secession ultimately lead to the confrontation at Fort Sumter, leading to the start of the Civil War.
