It depends on how long you've had the piercing. A new piercing can close up overnight. But one that is a few years old can take around 2 days to close up.
If you meant how long does it take your tongue to heal after just being pierced the answer is 6 - 8 weeks.

How did the American Anthropological Association’s "do no harm" mandate come into existence?
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

The answer is c. Ethical and moral lapses toward the end of the twentieth century led to changes in attitude about the role of the anthropologist.

Explanation:

The American Anthropological Association’s “do no harm” mandate came into existence after a five year research in which most of the association’s members felt ashamed over the ethical and moral lapses involved in their work, especially as it promoted American imperialism towards the end of the twentieth century. “Do no harm”, which is the first of seven main principles in the association’s “new code”, encourages anthropologists not to harm the dignity or beliefs of people—non-Americans and Americans.

The United States and Canada have the same standard of living as most of the world.
Sveta_85 [38]
False. In many other countries, there are orphanages for kids to be held in such as England or Mexico. Here in Canada and the US, we have a lot better living conditions for a child without a home such as having foster parents or being adopted.

Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

Paleo-Indian peoples, whose descendants include the Paiute, were the first inhabitants in the area, some 12,000 years ago. Their tools have been discovered at several sites in the Las Vegas Valley. The Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) and Paiute peoples came later and migrated between seasonal camps in the mountains and the valley.

Explanation:

Paleo-Indians were the first to enter and of course, inhabit the Americas at the time of the last glacial episodes belonging to the last part of the Pleistocene period. Historical theories hypothesized that animal hunters of big size coming from the north of Asia entered the Americas by crossing the Bering Strait through a bridge made of ice and land known as Beringia.
