Let the two numbers be x and y.

x + y = 82
+                                    Add both equations
x - y = 24
________

2x    =  106
_________

x = 106/2

x = 53

Recall:    x + y = 82    53 + y = 82 ,   y = 82 - 53 =   29

Therefore x = 53,  y = 29

Answer:

The value of x and y is 53 and 29 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Let the two numbers are x and y.

The sum of two numbers is 82.

x+y=82

Their difference is 24.

x-y=24

Now solve the equation by elimination method.

x+y=82\\\underline{x-y=24}\\2x\ \ \ \ =106

x =53

Now, substitute the value of x in x+y=82.

53+y=82

y=82-53

y=29

Hence, the value of x and y is 53 and 29 respectively.

Which of the following fractions is equal to a repeating decimal
kiruha [24]

Answer: There are no fractions listed, so I can't help you. 1/3 is a repeating though, if that helps anything. Otherwise, you could use a calculator and just find the decimal of the fraction.

What’s the answer for #11 @HavannaS? Spent 20 min and clueless, thank you!!!!!!
Elis [28]
Angle 2=3, so angle 1=4 because angles ABC & BCD equal 90°. When you add together the angles of a triangle you get 180 and if you could put angle 1 and 4 together it would look like an upward version.

That is the best way I could describe it. Hope that helps.
