The correct answers are: avoid responsibility , bargain with God , and escape from Lucifer's punishment.

Faustus sold his soul to the Devil in order to gain all knowledge in the world. He was greedy for knowledge and experiences, rather than money and fame, but he still agreed to sell his soul to Mephistopheles. In the end, when his time came, he wanted to avoid his responsibility of having to go to Hell with the Devil so he tried to bargain with God, however, it was futile.

A) Aviod Responsibility and B.) Bargain with God -------- Now, instead of pleading for more time before his demise, he wishes for a time limit on his suffering. He pleads to God requesting that, after spending a thousand or even a hundred thousand years in hell, he might be saved from his misery.

PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

Red meat was expensive, and only the rich could afford it

Explanation:

The Elizabethans ate three meals a day like anyone else, the meals varying from a chord to their riches among families. Poorer people could only buy vegetables and white meat such as fish, chicken and rabbits while the rich could eat red meat more consistently. In 1563 Elizabeth created a law that compelled everyone to eat fish meat every Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays by encouraging the fish industry and reducing the fish price to the poor.
