A pulmomary contusion is also known as lung contusion which is a situation where there is a bruise in the lungs that may be caused by a chest trauma. In pulmonary contusion there is an excess fluid in the lungs which causes an inadequate oxygen level in which the patient experience difficulty in breathing and this is called hypoxia.
